Led by the International Convocation of UU Women (ICUUW)
Plan to be in New York March 15-16, for our seminar on Saturday and Sunday in which ICUUW will offer U*Us the chance to meet each other, to learn about the UN from seasoned experts, and to engage in multigenerational, multinational conversation circles. You will meet women of liberal faith from around the world and also help ICUUW build its advocacy agenda.
Location: Fourth Universalist Society, 160 Central Park West, New York, NY. https://4thu.org/
Stay longer if you can. CSW offers a huge schedule of official meetings, caucus gatherings, and workshop sessions on weekdays, March 10-21. This is the 30th anniversary of the trail-blazing Beijing Women’s Conference, and CSW will be especially exciting, with hundreds of speakers and panels ready to evaluate the successes and failures for women in these 30 years.
Come to New York City to experience CSW69, the annual 2-week conference to evaluate global women’s empowerment, and also the largest international women’s gathering in the world. Here you will learn about UN structure, policies, and advocacy.
Sign up to get access to the information on all the parallel events that are planned. Register for NGO CSW Forum at https://ngocsw.org/.
St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Maybe you will also be able to catch a part of the biggest St. Patrick’s Day celebration in the world. https://www.nycstpatricksparade.org/
The deadline for registration for the Spring Seminar is January 15, 2025. Because of the tight time frame, participants from outside the US must have a visa application in process by the deadline. There is a separate registration for Commission on the Status of Women events at UN Headquarters. Assistance with this registration will be provided by ICUUW as soon as an individual’s registration for the Spring Seminar is received.
We look forward to meeting you in New York in March.
