Hajnal Antal is the founder of Selected Bags, a socially and ecologically conscious Transylvanian enterprise that makes handbags from waste paper. Its mission is to transform waste into beauty, creating a unique bag line that promotes innovation with an eco-friendly touch.

Noémi Karácsonyi is the Managing Director/CEO of SIMACEK Romania, a company specializing in green infrastructure solutions. Her goal is working on developing and building more livable urban spaces, thus contributing to a higher quality of life for greener cities and for city inhabitants. She puts trust, time, and expertise into making a positive impact by creating green infrastructures and urban biodiversity through green areas, roofs, and facades.

Enikő Balog is the owner and founder of Vera Green Bio Products and Zero Waste. They make fine, practical, and ecological products (bread bags, sandwich wrappers, snacks, make-up disks, cloth sanitary pads, etc.), all reusable and friendly with nature.

A panel discussion titled "Weaving a Tapestry of Peace" will spotlight staff and volunteers of Gondviselés, the social justice arm of the Hungarian Unitarian Church, responsible for the effective, compassionate response to displaced Ukrainians both in Romania and Ukraine. This work is supported by generous donations from U/Us in the United States and global supporters of ICUUW; ICUUW executive director Zsófia Sztranyiczki and vice president Gizella Nagy has accompanied Gondviselés on several humanitarian aid shipments to Transcarpathia, Ukraine. The panel will also include Ukrainian refugees Yulia Skalska and her husband Vladimir Skalski.
