The transportation of the goods on this life-threatening route to southern Ukraine (Odesa and the town of Liubashivka, 170 kms north of Odesa) was carried out again by Ukrainian volunteer friends, Vladimir Skalsky and his wife Yulia, refugees from Odesa living in Kolozsvár/Cluj-Napoca.

Food delivered to the hospital in Liubashivka was financed by the Kinderen In Nood foundation in the Netherlands. Additional hospital equipment and medicines were purchased by Providence Charity Organization from grants and donations. Providence's major donors include the International Convocation of Unitarian Universalist Women, Rissho Kosei-kai (Japan), Religions for Peace, the International Association for Religious Freedom and Unitarian Universalist congregations in the United States.

May God grant peace to Ukraine, which has been torn apart for more than two years, and to all our fellow human beings who are suffering violence around the world!
