The participation for me at Spring Seminar was a dream coming true, after much struggle to get a visa and to travel to US. Finally arriving in NYC and attending the workshops at the UN was overwhelming and so informative. There are not enough words to thank you for making this possible.
To be in NYC itself was wonderful. To be together with great people was even more valuable. To learn about the status of women today was eye opening.
The highlight for me was the Spring Seminar at the Fourth Universalist Society. I felt like someone who found the "tribe". I am just grateful to be in the same space with sisters who know so much about UN, the processes there, and how to engage people.
The extra program warmed my heart – the fact that you joined us on Hungarian Independence Day, 15th March 1848, at the statue of Kossuth Lajos, was very meaningful. After all, we all share the idea and human experience of independence and liberty.
Thank you to everyone who makes the connections alive.
